Frequently asked questions
How do I work out how many cleaning supplies I need each month?
The easiest way is to note when each product runs out over one month. The number of people at home, how often you do laundry and whether you use a dishwasher set the consumption; in the first month, write the list with a little extra and adjust it to your real usage in the second.
Can bleach be mixed with other cleaners?
No. Mixing bleach with vinegar, ammonia or acidic bathroom cleaners in particular can release toxic gas. Use products separately, rinse the surface well in between and ventilate the room.
Which cleaning products do you really need at home?
For most homes, dishwashing and laundry detergent, one surface cleaner, one bathroom and toilet cleaner, bleach and sponges and cloths form the base. There's no need for a separate product for every surface; glass cleaner and fabric softener are added as needed.
Can I change the list?
Of course. The ready-made list is just a starting point: delete, add, move items between categories.
Do I need an account?
