Beach day checklist — from towels to sunscreen
At the beach it is always the sunscreen, the water or the spare clothes you forget, and you only notice on the way home. This list covers everything from towels to watermelon, and with a room code it is clear who brings what. No sign-up needed.
In short
For a beach day, take a beach towel, swimsuit, high-SPF sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses and a beach umbrella. In the heat you'll also want water, a cooler bag, watermelon and snacks. Pack a change of clothes, a wet bag and trash bags for the way home, plus after-sun lotion to cool your skin at the end of the day.

Tips
Put sunscreen on before you leave home, then reapply every two hours and after every swim.
The sun is strongest between 11 am and 4 pm, so take a break under the umbrella during those hours.
Keep the cooler bag in the shade with the lid shut and fill it with pre-chilled drinks; the ice lasts much longer.
In a group, swim in turns so that someone always stays with the things, and don't leave valuables lying out on the sand.
How it works
1. Open your room
Tap the button and the items land in a fresh room. No account, no email, nothing to install.
2. Share the code
Send the room code or the link to the group; everyone's on the same list in seconds.
3. Finish it together
Who's buying what shows up instantly; bought items get ticked, so nobody buys the same thing twice.
Frequently asked questions
How often should you reapply sunscreen at the beach?
The usual advice is to apply it before you leave home, then reapply about every two hours and after every swim or towelling off. Choose a high-SPF, broad-spectrum product and don't forget easily missed spots like ears, the back of the neck and the tops of your feet.
How do you keep food and drinks cold at the beach?
Fill the cooler bag with pre-chilled drinks and ice packs, and keep it in the shade with the lid closed. Chilling fruit like watermelon in the fridge beforehand also helps everything stay cool for longer.
What should you watch out for at the beach with children?
Never leave children unsupervised near water, even for a moment, and protect them with a hat, shade and sunscreen while offering water often. Babies' skin is very delicate, so keep them out of direct sun and ask a paediatrician if you're unsure.
Can I change the list?
Of course. The ready-made list is just a starting point: delete, add, move items between categories.
Do I need an account?
No. A room code is all it takes — no email, password or signup.
How long is the list kept?
As long as you use it. A list is only deleted after a month without any activity; even opening the room resets the clock.
Can I install it on my phone?
Yes. With the room open, tap "Save Room" to add it to your home screen and open it with one tap.
