In short
A buddha bowl is a filling single-bowl meal that combines a grain, a legume, plenty of vegetables and a dressing. The chickpea version for two uses 150 g quinoa, a 400 g can of chickpeas, roasted sweet potato and broccoli, fresh greens and a tahini dressing. It takes about 35 minutes and is fully vegan.

Frequently asked questions
What is a buddha bowl and what goes in it?
It is a single bowl with a base of grains or greens, a protein such as legumes or tofu, raw and cooked vegetables and a dressing. The ingredients are arranged in sections rather than mixed together.
Can you make buddha bowls ahead of time?
Yes. Cooked quinoa, chickpeas and roasted vegetables keep in sealed containers in the fridge for 3–4 days. Store the avocado, greens and dressing separately and add them just before eating so the bowl stays fresh.
What can you use instead of quinoa in a buddha bowl?
Bulgur, brown rice or couscous all work well. For a gluten-free bowl choose brown rice or buckwheat; cooking times differ by grain, so follow the package instructions.
Can I change the list?
Of course. The ready-made list is just a starting point: delete, add, move items between categories.
Do I need an account?
No. A room code is all it takes — no email, password or signup.
How long is the list kept?
As long as you use it. A list is only deleted after a month without any activity; even opening the room resets the clock.
Can I install it on my phone?
Yes. With the room open, tap "Save Room" to add it to your home screen and open it with one tap.
