In short
Cheese poğaça takes 3½ cups of flour, 1 cup of yogurt, ½ cup each of milk and oil, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 200 g feta and half a bunch of parsley, and makes about 14 in 50 minutes. The yogurt dough needs no yeast and no proving: knead it soft, fill walnut-sized pieces with cheese, brush with egg and bake at 180 °C for 20–25 minutes.

Ingredients
- Flour3½ cups
- Yogurt1 cup
- Milk½ cup
- Vegetable oil½ cup
- Eggs2 (1 for glazing)
- Baking powder2 tsp
- Salt1 tsp
- White cheese (feta)200 g
- Parsley½ bunch
- Nigella seedsfor topping
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F) and line a baking tray with parchment. Crumble the cheese with a fork and mix with the finely chopped parsley.
In a large bowl, whisk the yogurt, milk, oil, 1 egg and the salt.
Mix the flour with the baking powder and add most of it to the wet ingredients; knead into a dough as soft as an earlobe. Add a little more flour only if it sticks.
Pinch off walnut-sized pieces, flatten each in your palm, put a teaspoon of the cheese filling in the middle, then seal and roll into a ball.
Arrange the pastries on the tray, leaving gaps. Brush with the second beaten egg and sprinkle with nigella seeds.
Bake 20–25 minutes until golden. Rest for 5 minutes and serve warm.

Frequently asked questions
Why did my poğaça turn out hard?
Usually too much flour or too much kneading. The dough should stay soft, like an earlobe, and only a little tacky; add flour a spoonful at a time and only if it truly sticks. Let them rest for 5 minutes after baking.
How do I stop the cheese leaking out of poğaça?
Mash the feta, mix in the parsley and drain off any excess liquid so the filling isn't wet. Put just a teaspoon in each flattened piece, pinch the seam shut firmly and place them seam-side down.
Can I freeze poğaça?
Yes: cool them completely and freeze in a freezer bag for 2–3 months. Reheat from frozen at 160–170 °C for 8–10 minutes and they taste freshly baked.
Can I change the list?
Of course. The ready-made list is just a starting point: delete, add, move items between categories.
Do I need an account?
No. A room code is all it takes — no email, password or signup.
How long is the list kept?
As long as you use it. A list is only deleted after a month without any activity; even opening the room resets the clock.
Can I install it on my phone?
Yes. With the room open, tap "Save Room" to add it to your home screen and open it with one tap.
